I think hair flying around can really add some interest to action photos. Maybe I'm biased because I don't have much (hair).

A blocked shot and an attempt to keep a ball from going out of bounds are both instances where long arms come in handy.

Sometimes a window opens during a game and if I'm lucky I can get a glimpse of player preparing to shoot a free throw.

Some of my favorites from the 2025 WVSSAC Girls Basketball Tournament. These 4 were shot with the camera flat on the floor. The flipout screen on the Canon R6 Mark II makes it easier to catch these moments.
