it's really funny how they reshot that entire half of the film the year it came out to make it less complicated

shotaro ishinomori is the GOAT for a reason. he also directed an episode of the original show (ep 84 i think) and it's really cool seeing a tv episode made with the sensibility of a comic artist

my favorite bts story about this show is that some tv station bought the rights from amazon to syndicate the first season and producer shinichiro shirakura was so pissed that they had "wasted" their chance to make something that couldn't be shown on tv that he demanded season 2 be more fucked up
