Pope Leo should consider de facto excommunication of all Catholic ICE/Border Patrol agents engaged in and perpetrating rank civil and human rights abuses in the US. They all are truly sideways with the Holy Sea and deserve spiritual accountability.

Trump is an anathema to the American creed and character and therefore surrenders his legitimate claim as sovereign. He ignores and habitually violates our Constitution and his obligations to it. He espouses hate and wages war against Americans. He is traitor all cherishing life and liberty!

Trump’s vision of sovereign government is essentially that of the absolute monarchs of France: “In my person alone resides the sovereign power.” Sound familiar? That attitude sent one French king to the guillotine and be Trump’s undoing in a constitutional republic.

Republicans are so twisted calling “No Kings” protests as un-American. Reallly!!! Are you kidding me!! There is nothing more quintessentially American as protesting being ruled by a king. It started in 1775 in Boston, then declaring our independence in ‘76. After a bloody war we dumped George III!!!

The optics of the outrageous ICE raid onto private property in Chicago w/o warrants is more than reminiscent of what the Nazis did in every major city in Europe during WWII; clearing swaths of populated areas of “undesirables” to be sent to concentration camps. ICE is acting just like Nazis.

News flash!! US military will not be participating in the Huntington Beach, CA Air Show this year because of gov’t shutdown. But wait, the Canadian AF is coming to the rescue with their aerial acrobatics. How rich is that. And no tariffs!! Maybe CA should separate from US and become Canadian.
