The Internet will always be a place of free speech, but the web won't be.

I'm going to start looking into ways of creating more decentralized sites and technology. If you also know how to program I would encourage you to do the same.

We the people control the Internet.

Is reclaiming our own digital freedom not why we're here on bluesky? Why is the immediate response always to complain to our governments when it's clear they're not going to listen to you?

I think that the best way to fight back isn't protests or the typical shit people scream their heads about.

We should be embracing decentralization more. Create replacements for the websites/tech we rely on. Create new payment processors (if possible). Embrace tech like Bitcoin.

Ultimately, though we all know this is a way to control the media and to stifle information and free speech, I don't think it's done solely for government control. The people in power are those who control the technology that you use.

The censorship increases that power, the money they can make.

I would think of it more like a peace offering rather than an attempt to buy a relationship.

Making friends can be difficult at times and you might feel as if you want to show that you mean well without putting another person off (ironically putting them off while attempting to do so).

It's too late, dishonor

I hope you know that people actually need their arms for various purposes and you can't just keep commandeering them as snacks. It's hurtful and selfish.
