Old Canadian dude. Software consultant trying to update my machine learning skills, and have been focused on upping my math via MathAcademy for most of the last year.
If I remember, it was the cost of Lidar that made him choose to stick with cameras. Why didn't they just in-house the production of Lidar and drop the cost to make it feasible instead of sticking with the vision model?
