That's kinda my point, yeah. It solves the "Mel has no agency in the ending of her own story.", but not "Murder Grandpa gets No Consequences"

Even post-patch doesn't solve this issue. He still basically sees no consequences for his actions.

I mean, the changes help in some aspects, but they don't solve the issue of Chronos basically seeing no consequences for his actions (including murdering a city) save being forced to feel vaguely bad about it.

Majestic Prince. Cross Ange has some fun interactions with SEED and Getter in V and Wataru in X, plus the Vilkiss is a cool robot piloted by a bisexual. I don't hate Majestic Prince, it's too boring to hate. Y struggled to make it relevant in a game where they tried hard to make all series be so.

At one point in Y Suletta signs up to be Domon's apprentice and gets very excited at the idea of Aerial being able to fire off the Sekiha Tenkyoken someday.

Mine was Forte, then Kira, then Heero/Suletta tied for third. Kira and Heero's MAP attacks are so good, especially on the Relic maps.

I like using up Gridknight and Dynazenon's resources on the mooks, and then combined at the bosses, get the full HP/EN heal, and then fired off multiple final attacks using Zeal and having two pilots with main character SP pools. But really, they and their combine are great units, use however.

To be fair, it's still pretty optimal to put stuff into Gauma, unlike Mamoru, their combination still keeps both Gridknight and Dynazenon on the field at the start of the mission, so it's pretty optimal to use them up THEN combine. (Also there's a secret that requires them both to be aces.)

He's also an incredibly useful support unit. Free Daunt+Analyze when bonking someone, AND a 4-square aura that gives +15% to final Hit and Dodge rates? Yes please.

They are farmable, they just need a cooldown of (I think it's 2 or 3) missions before they'll respawn again. And as you go along, more Front missions will open up, by the end of the game you'll have eight different Fronts available to you.
