im gonna say its a 'bumpos palace of tricks'. it's just a shitty palace (crumbling bridge) and a shitty trick (fly away from you until it needs to come back and take a nap)

my favorite is the guy on the far left; I'm always a fan of 'plate helmet with horns/protrusions to either side like a hammerhead shark'

these all feel like sprites for like, endgame job classes in a game like FF3 or FF5, like the stuff you'd get in eureka. maybe your short game idea starts in the 'final dungeon' of an implied much longer game or something lol

my personal preference would fall under D., in that I'd want to see some sci-fi stuff. robots, aliens, tech-y objects and buildings and tilesets, vehicles, etc. but, if sci-fi stuff has no appeal to you at all, probably B.
