This week’s #showmeyourknits prompt is colorwork. Although I learned how to do colorwork as a child - my mom taught me to design and knit motifs for Xmas stockings very early on - I rarely do much of it these days. I did knit a Soldotna Crop for my BFF years ago & managed to take 1 progress pic

For #ShowMeYourKnits this week the prompt is lace. I know I have knit more lace projects than my camera roll suggests, but this is all I’ve got. I knit this Te Whēnua shawl, designed by Francoise Danoy, in this gorgeous 1-ply (can’t remember yarn details) several years ago as a gift for my sister

For this week’s #ShowMeYourKnits prompt of WIP I have the progress I’ve made on the Garter Snake Cowl since I posted it for last week’s prompt. Surprising nobody, this @lolabeanyarnco.com yarn is a delight to knit. The colors are so wonderful.

Inspired by this week’s #ShowMeYourKnits prompt of hearts, I cast on the Garter Snake Cowl, designed by Lavanya Patricella, in @lolabeanyarnco.com colorway Crazy Little Thing Called Love and some unlabeled yarn I was gifted. Very hard to tear myself away and get ready for work.
