I love just plunging it into the wall at home and just not needing to go to gas stations in my day to day life.

Every single one tries to get your subscription to lock you into their network.
Here tap to pay is getting mandatory on the fast chargers... But they usually get the terrible rates. (Maybe that thanges when the regulation grace period is over)

I have more fear of it turning into a slime situation where the initial rush is so intense that they end up in fullfillment hell for years.

Having been on wireless for over 2 years now.
Its great and I do not want to go back.
Even just on 5GHz where there is some crowdedness in my region it runs rock solid at 130MBit/s with 2 headseats doing that on the same WiFi.
The wireless part will probably not be the issue for basically every user

Having been on wireless for over 2 years now.
Its great and I do not want to go back.

Pricing is currently hard with how tarrifs might change till then and how NAND is currently really bad, (ddr5 prices have basically doubled in the last weeks)
Their aim is below index price, I hope they manage it.

Yeah, its not the no-brainer a lot of people hoped, for me, wanting a upgrade path with face tracking, it is one of the 3 devices that come into question.
The one other is probably double the price and the other is wired and runs on a tracking ecosystem that is more and more fragile.

I would compare the quest and frame to phone and a laptop.
Phones are computation beasts today, but they only allow apk apps and some customization on the decorations and stuff.
A laptop can run whatever system you want and has barely anything keeping you from doing what you want.

Because other than just having some app SDK that our meta overloards are greatfull to give us, here I can press a button and have a full Linux environment to do whatever I want, while it also has the ability to run my windows programs or experiments natively out of the box.

You do register as a dev even without a almost releasing game, since it has tools and documentation behind it.
As soon as the legal entity you intend to work as is done, you can get access to the developer dashboards.

since streaming from a PC is going thru steamlink and we know of valve employees playing vrchat that have been involved in steamlink/frame, there is a very real chance its gonne support osc out of the box.

Here most places only have big brand powders, but now I have found a cheaper one that is also packaged without any plastic, It genuenly is a reason for me to go to that specific store, and it lasts so ridiculously long.
