Looking for the country I grew up loving.
Schnoodle lover, football fan (HTTC), would rather be snowboarding right now. Strong advocate for more dog-related content on BlueSky.
I didn't think he'd really be able to make housing more affordable, particularly not that fast, but that's impressive.

You're right, you and many other people who have never coached a professional football game in your life were saying that.

It's not hard - at all - to see that almost everyone who has coached professional football over the past several decades would not have pulled him.

FFS, I almost don't even know what to say if you think Jayden doesn't need reps based on what he did last year.

That aside, my initial point stands - NFL teams almost never pull QBs in that situation. We can argue over whether they should, but they don't. DQ isn't unique.

Have you considered the fact that Sam Darnold doesn't seem to need as many reps with the guys around him as Jayden does right now?
November 3, 2025 at 11:16 PM
Not that hard. NFL teams almost never pull QBs (esp. in yr 2) with several min. left in a game in the middle of the season no matter the score unless the QB is playing horrible that night. Maybe question the playcalling but leaving him in wasn't unusual or even wrong imo. www.si.com/nfl/dan-quin...
Why You Shouldn’t Blame Dan Quinn or Jayden Daniels for the QB’s Gruesome Injury
The Commanders’ franchise quarterback remained in the game late in a blowout, but that is shockingly standard operating procedure in the NFL.

Last week Vrabel said it was because Rhamondre was having so much success. What's the excuse going to be this week?

Need to remember this during my next fantasy football draft.

We are never going to agree on how this was handled. Terry could never play another down, and I'll still think it was mishandled. He could be WR1 for the next several years and you'll still whine about him missing these few games. Let it go.
October 12, 2025 at 1:43 PM
Wow, you don't say. You mean he's missing as many games as 26 yr old Cee Dee Lamb, but not out for the season like 22 yr old Malik Nabers?!?!? I can't believe it! I guess none of those guys should get paid like top receivers.

Is this their attempt to find people they expect to blend in with the locals?

Good thing Border Patrol aren't considered troops

No change. Terry has more yards than he did at the same point last year. If the league didn't take away a clear TD last week he'd have the same # of TDs.

If he misses his 3rd game in 7 years, that'll be 1 more than Nabers (yr 2) and half as many as Puka (yr 3) have already missed. Injuries happen

Shouldn’t people from across the political spectrum avoid attributing a motive to a shooting before we even have a suspect identified?
September 10, 2025 at 9:55 PM
Today's the first time I came across your work so I'd love to see your coverage on that topic. I'm certainly not defending or ignoring the many problems within MPD (particularly all things re: Pemberton), but it's still not clear to me what you think the MPD should have done differently wrt 1/6.
September 4, 2025 at 8:21 PM
Not saying MPD is perfect in general, but are you suggesting 1 officer equates to "deep ties" or are you aware of other specific examples? And what exactly was MPD supposed to do as the J6ers exercised their 1st amendment rights during the march to the Capitol? That part wasn't illegal.
September 4, 2025 at 8:11 PM
I appreciate you writing about this, but GTFO with saying MPD "are the ones who let J6 happen." The feds let J6 happen. MPD isn't responsible for the Capitol or the Mall. MPD were the ones who rushed in to save US Capitol Police when other feds continued to shirk their duties.

And WaPo doesn't report news. That headline is complete bs.
September 2, 2025 at 9:20 PM
FFS, this is such a click-bait BS headline emblematic of how far WaPo has fallen. Trump's federalization of the DC police expires. The Task Force he created doesn't. Bowser's EO establishes chain of command and operations for DC's work with that task force.
