if i think about like that, remakes aren’t exactly independent of the original game either. So if remakes can be nominated, why not DLCs too? Honestly, I don’t know what to think anymore. What about remasters? I’m just confused. 😅

i think DLC’s should have their own category. it’s just an expansion to an already released (and probably great) game. They are not independent from the main game -like I can’t SotE without Elden Ring. So, it’s still part of something we’ve seen before.
