A week ago i met with @sorenmau.bsky.social for a drink and to discuss chapter 4 of his upcoming book. We talked about peasant wars in germany, edible barricades and food production.
Conclusion: there is no longer an agrarian question in the so called western world...

I have too much waged labour, and read too little at the moment. But this book is extraordinarily good. A fantastic communist analysis of the history and crises of family politics.

And also. My bike got new wheels last week. Originally from the 90s, I think. Bought it 15 years ago. It has been rebuilt 3 times. First as a smart racer, then with a child seat and now a single speed. 🔥🚲

Its just now, by reading Ross, I - 15 years later - get that the massive riots in Copenhagen march 2007, was all about space.
Struggles around space can mobilize people to take a stand for/against. There can be no in between.

It is even more wierd. I cant - not even when I really try - convince my students that this actually made since for some people 20 years ago. They dont believe it.
