Hey, thanks for engaging and allowing a dialogue and I hope I made compelling arguments. Cheers!

You and I know that. But like, it's politics, plenty of folks likely did not.

Terrible, meaning she should have said she'd stop sending bombs to fund a genocide. That was in the campaign's control.
January 19, 2026 at 7:30 PM
It does when an American Presidential Candidate has control over their stand on whether we keep shipping munitions for said conflict. Our tax dollars.
January 19, 2026 at 7:24 PM
And that's your moral failing to own.
January 19, 2026 at 6:10 PM
It's very much consensus. Again, I understand the frustration about our home situation. But do you see how the party could have been on the moral side? Dictating what folks care about isn't realistic.
January 19, 2026 at 5:55 PM
That's not true. Many countries and international bodies now recognize it as a genocide.
January 19, 2026 at 5:37 PM
Reality is hard to swallow. Alternatively, folks were trying to get us on the right side of history. And we failed. We simply failed to do that. We both know that Trump is worse. But moral reality isn't bendable. The Democrats should have realized that and helped make the moral position popular.

We could have countered that Right wing propaganda had Biden or Harris been more forceful in their opposition to it. But they chose not to. It's not like they're blameless in failing to counter message ya know? Like I think that's a fair criticism.
January 19, 2026 at 5:32 PM
But I do think you're also being dismissive of a genocide by using "genocide" in quotes and saying "if it was a genocide at all." Like, using language like that just alienates the folks you want on your side. It's okay to admit it was one, and that Biden didn't denounce it hard enough.
January 19, 2026 at 5:30 PM
Listen. I get your frustration. But we could have pulled funding for weapons transfers and actually criticized Netanyahu as a party. But we didn't, and Trump was able to take that "peace candidate" mantle. So that IS on the leadership of the party.
January 19, 2026 at 5:27 PM
I get that. I really do because our system is in tatters. But we've always been the party of civil rights and "doing the right thing" so many were very angry that the party wasn't righteously behind them. We need to focus on the elections to come.
January 19, 2026 at 5:25 PM
Like, I think a better strategy here is to focus on the vulnerabilities of Republicans instead of yelling at each other. Why not lobby together against this current regime instead of infighting?
January 19, 2026 at 5:23 PM
I don't hate both in equal measure AT ALL, and many who opposed the genocide don't either. But we DO have to be able to criticize the party we want to be better.
January 19, 2026 at 5:20 PM
Genocide happened. I know it's a hard pill to swallow but it did. I'm not blaming here but it happened under a Dem Presidency with our funding. Telling folks to ignore that is just not gonna work. Instead we should focus on how to build a coalition despite how frustrated we ALL are.
January 19, 2026 at 5:20 PM
"purity" is an oft-used excuse to not handle the issues within our own party. That's what this time/primaries are for. Many of us with criticism of the Dems DID vote for Harris. But a corporate serving party isn't going to win us a long term coalition. We need to seve working people only.
January 19, 2026 at 5:12 PM
The best way to defeat Vance is to shine a light on his shape shifting nature. And relate it back to how he'll say anything to get elected and do nothing to help folks in office.

Please have Mamdani on!

I think we need to grapple with the fact that the economy wasn't working. It's okay to admit that and push for change so more folks are helped out of being working poor. If we advertise more of the same, DESPITE me wanting Kamala to win, we will end up losing again.

Affordability and Accountability
November 18, 2025 at 8:34 PM
I keep seeing attempts to paint the NYC race as "not that big of a deal" from centrist Dems who don't seem to understand that working class politics can win everywhere.
November 5, 2025 at 5:18 PM
Also it's not exactly about needing Schumer's support. It's about the party embracing its left flank as well as the centrists. It's OKAY to do that and win.
November 5, 2025 at 4:47 PM
But his message will resonate with those across America. It's an affordability problem. I think diminishing his win down to circumstances of the race is completely wrong when working people are crying out for change. I think ignoring that will be to all of our peril.
