There is nothing more flattering than to have something you create be something that inspires another to create something based on that. It both humbles me and fills me with gratitude.

Despite him being a man, Gregor Clegane's a bit of an inspiration for X'eskat. She's not supposed to have that low fat content, chiseled and highly defined muscles. Instead, X'eskat is meant to still have a bit of fat on her, a little curvy, and have a feminine, but powerful, broad and bulky build.

Eskat has an Ala Mhigan accent. But Eorzeans associate that with refugees, the underclass, and X'eskat faced persecution from this.
So she works to mimic the local accent wherever she goes, to feel more like the Champion of Eorzea to those around her, but her native accent is always subtly there.

Just a quick experiment with an old gpose. Felt like making something... messy and extreme in how its colors work.
This is Eskat's Fray! A detail I use for the Dr. Jeckle & Mr. Hyde dyanmic between them: Eskat dislikes her yellow eye, and keeps it more hidden, Fray does the opposite!

To X'eskat, they're people, and like people everywhere, there are good moogles and bad moogles. But X'eskat is an... industrious individual, and the common moogle gimmick of "trying to get out of labor with pranks and excuses" does not tend to endear her to most moogles.
