What is the source for this? A brief look online says his wealth is tied to investments that are fluctuating quite a bit with the markets. I don’t doubt he’s lining his coffers at the expense of the rest of us and our children, but just curious on the data.

S1 was compelling with all the world building, like whatever was going on with the cave at the bottom and the first couple of episodes of S2 had the world expanding. But I don’t see much character development happening, just plot and the plot is slow. And the dialogue is rough.

It’s not about what is reasonable, it’s about what people feel. Looking out for the greater good just doesn’t feel as exciting.
