At the beautiful, albeit grey and blustery today, Hove Promenade #parkrun . Had a little taper this week and went for sub-32 but sneaked in under 31 :) Not saying I went off too quick but nearly ran into the back of the 30 pacer at 1km. First time in a long time that sub-30 isn’t looking impossible

No #parkrun as travelling. My autumn holiday an informal run camp the last few years. By Apple Health I’ve snaffled 3 full points of VO2 max the last 3 weeks. Sceptical about the absolute number but hopefully trend is meaningful. Z2 5K on each day shown and today’s was 3 minutes quicker for lower HR

Well we can all argue about how quick it wasn’t, but at least it was 10km under blue (?? dry at least) skies. All runs are beautiful but some are more comely than others yesterday #runningpunks

My marathon block starts 15th December (no, it’s perfect timing!) and it’s more aggressive than the last one I did. Feel like I need to train for the training. Want to build from ~30km p/w to ~50km p/w by then. Lucky to be on holiday up here for 3 weeks so no excuses! #runningpunks

Veeerrry difficult getting out of bed this morning and almost missed #parkrun, which would have been a shame as I would have missed my 💯 and also smashing my (mid) comeback time. Whoop whoop!!

Ran and volunteered at Chipping Sodbury #parkrun this morning. Yes, I understand that set-up is the glamour role. Flashy. But the skill really comes in packing it all away neatly in The Little Room Round The Back.

Having a little school reunion in North Wales. Would be rude not to do a little parkrun while I’m up here so Old Railway Trail #parkrun, Llangollen visited and I only wish I lived nearer. Dw i’n caru Cymru!

Getting over a few things at the moment and have had a (very modest) “comeback” time in mind for a while. Spectacularly missed it at a sweaty Grangemoor #parkrun this morning. A fast course, in theory, but not for me, today. I will be back.
