❔Jiang Jun

Still here for the Jiang Jun comeback story. Gonna hate myself later for my decision. 😂
I'm surprised He Guoqiang and Stan Moody aren't playing on one of the 4 streaming tables.

I'm rooting for 3 Chinese players, 1 Belgian and 1 Englishman in this session. And for another Chinese later. But I'll probably fall asleep early, last night was draining.

Watch Chang Bingyu's 147 from yesterday.

Look out for that final black ...

That was a good game.
Well played, He Guoqiang!

I hope he qualifies. 🤞

I wasn't watching, but had an eye on the livescoring: Quite an eventful 3rd frame in which Sanderson Lam needed snookers after giving away 25 points in fouls himself. He got a foul on the blue and won the frame 75-74.

Or something else happend. I don't trust the scoring at all.

I think the errors in the WST live scoring get worse every day and now we've reached a point where I have no clue anymore what's going on. 🙄

Aggregate score is 4-5 right now.

I hate snooker 😭

Michał Szubarczyk 👏
Very impressive.

I knew he was a massive talent, but I'm still mighty impressed how well he's doing in his rookie season as the youngest ever professional. 🤯

This was still surprisingly exciting after Ben Mertens needed multiple snookers since Jiang Jun wasn't great escaping them. Still won in the end.

At least the other Belgian won: Julien Leclercq won the decider against Haris Tahir 44-35 (apparently?) . Must've been a classic. 😂
I hate that not everything is available on demand on Discovery+.

I wasn't expecting matches to be still ongoing, nearly missed the end of Ben Mertens v Jiang Jun. Currently playing a decider - but who do I root for?? 😱

(Looks like Jiang would be the wiser choice.)

Hasn't worked out as planned, the better player won. 😆

Marco Fu and Zhou Yuelong last played each other last year at the very same stage and Yuelong played well in that match and won 6-3 after trailing 0-3. I hope for something similar on Tuesday.
I'm not so keen on the choice of matches that are played on table 1 to 4 tonight.

I decided to watch Wang Yuchen v Marco Fu and I'm rooting for whoever plays worse. 😅 Currently I'd be happy with either of them as a winner. 😆

Could've been the perfect session, but not with the last result.
November 23, 2025 at 7:23 PM
Well done, Iulian! 😊

Dylan Emery was on potential maximum but missed an easy black on 73 (one red in the baulk area, so there was still a bit to do).

Still a possible steal on for Chang Bingyu who only needs two snookers.
November 23, 2025 at 5:23 PM
I'm currently watching Iulian Boiko v Liam Davies and Chang Bingyu v Dylan Emery and both are real quality match-ups so far with both players knocking in big breaks for fun.

Holty and Reanne are playing a bit of a different match so far.
November 23, 2025 at 3:20 PM
Iulian is playing really well so far. That's really nice to watch. 😊

Gao Yang reduces his deficit to 4-5. This could become huge in terms of mentality because in this frame Ashley Hugill had about six good chances to put frame and match to bed.
November 23, 2025 at 1:02 PM
Haris Tahir and Kreishh Gurbaxani were the first players to reach the midsession interval I believe. Very quick match. I tuned in when Tahir went 3-2 up. Since then absolutely nothing has been happening in this match. I cursed them. 🙈

(Tahir's gone 4-2 up while I was typing 😅)

Well, Mink got in first. Played an aggressive shot to split the reds early but failed to pot the colour. Jiang Jun made a century clearance from where she left him. Tough school.
November 23, 2025 at 9:48 AM
On another note: Why does Jiang Jun keep on drawing the women?
November 23, 2025 at 9:35 AM
My matches this morning:

Jiang Jun - Mink Nutcharut
Robbie McGuigan - Oliver Sykes
Gao Yang - Ashley Hugill (or switching between different matches)
