It’s be more ecologically sound to allow them to be eaten by ants or colonized by mycelium or something, but whatever the case, let’s not think of it as retribution, but instead an opportunity for them to demonstrate their “inherent genetic superiority” by adapting to adverse conditions.

For decades, we’ve seen this expression drift inexorably toward its most violent, repressive, totalitarian extreme, compressing the spectrum of viable political thought amongst the ruling class. Respectfully, fighting to identify the ever-finer distinctions among them is a poor use of resources.

The dominant power structures in this land are a metastasized amalgam of capital interests and the fears and prejudices and weaknesses capital leverages to exercise power, and those who broker that power inevitably reflect each of those factors to a greater or lesser degree.

The purpose of a system is what it *does*. I am, and will continue to be more interested in assessing what our machine of State is producing than in microscopically assaying individual politicians for minute variations of principle in pursuit of some precise taxonomy of “goodness”.

They’re “suggestions” when it comes to stopping oligarchs and fascists from plundering and killing. But you try something like UBI, socialized healthcare, or feeding hungry children, and you’ll see quickly just how powerful and uncompromising they are.

I suppose if you define “healthy” stringently and explicitly to mean “someone who has not, at this particular time, died from infection with this specific disease on this discrete occasion” then it *almost* passes a logic test. But the simpler answer, as you say, is “eugenicists are so stupid”.
