Saw some truly incredible collaborative pieces from local school kids. Teaver Weaver got a genuine yelp out of me when I turned the corner to it
A child's drawing describing a monster called Teaver Weaver. It lives on the ceiling, has no job and no fears, and eats dogs. A sculpture made by a high schooler elaborating on the design sits in front, some kind of blobby fish beast with a gaping human mouth, out of which a sad dog face is visible. More sculptures and drawings, one of a red stick figure with brown limbs and one of a large, square creature with a red body and yellow, green and black decorations, smiling and waving at the beach. More art and pictures describing the collaborative program from a local school.

My nap safety officers, Goliath and Lt the black cats, lazing on blankets and keeping me from falling prey to a Nap while I fold laundry in a cozy space.

We found this guy at the grocery store and had to take him home. Our new house goblin
A silly Halloween critter. It's a light green little guy with a fuzzy green suit with big ears and horns, an orange bowtie, and long, green and white striped socks hanging over the mantle. His fangs are askew, one points down and another points up. He's pretty cute.

You walk into my home and see that my goth stylings clash immediately with my surroundings

Been dealing with very annoying rental problems but I still went and got a pumpkin to carve
A jack o lantern on concrete pavement, its face lit up with a scheming grin. Same but closer up, you can see the apple shaped candle within from the holes carved to look like claws.

Went to the museum a little ways north and met lots of friends, then came home and shared my lunch with a wasp :)
A Malaysian Hercules Beetle face-first in a banana A white orchid mantis on a big white flower. A big, globular glass vessel with tubes coming out of the sides. In the middle is a flat layer of dirt and a bunch of leaf scraps, as well as the leafcutter ants that live inside and their fungus farm. Very cool A wasp who needed some chicken off my sandwich to feed her children. She politely but diligently took a big honkin' ball of meat and then flew away, extremely encumbered

Raleigh area you need to go adopt this cat YESTERDAY. She is so so sweet. She's 10 and is up for adoption because her people passed away. Her name is Chloe and she walked right up to me and gave me nuzzles on my mask and she's so soft

Went to da cat cafe with my friend :))
A cat named Arbys, white with black spots, sitting on a window-mounted cat hammock and looking suspicious with airplane ears. She was both affectionate and playful, very friendly and soft. 10/10 she let me pet her belly A very svelte gray cat with a small head looking extremely long on his back legs. He's looking to the left and has paws on two different wall mounted platforms. Also Arbys the cat, looking out the window from on top of an air purifier. A very handsome tabby sitting low on a high wall shelf.

How all Mondays should be spent tbh

Delicious pastries from La Recette patisserie in Durham, NC. an assortment of nut and jam cookies, a small Bundt cake, a cinnamon croissant and a fancy little tart flavored with spiced pears and a mound of smooth cream.
