One of the first quests in my socio-political intrigue campaign where dragons were existential threats to the lower races was to massacre a village of kobolds just trying to scrape by now that the dragons are gone. I get a pretty good view on what type of party it's gonna be then.

It's hard, b/c as a DM, I don't allow homo/transphobia or sexism in my games, but it's hard to say "racism has no place in this world" when there are literally physical differences between the races, from having armored shells to living hundreds of years which others would resent/be suspicious of.
