No es ser ludita, ni apocalíptico, pero tenemos que encontrar qué hacer con este maremoto porque cuando seamos reemplazados, ya será demasiado tarde

Este es el tema definitorio de nuestros días, y lo que pase con él, va a regir las vidas de las futuras generaciones por siglos. Es una revolución más grande que la Revolución Industrial, yo lo veo al nivel de la invención de la agricultura y de la propiedad privada

Ya que el acceso a la sanidad, educación y tiempo libre, van a estar detrás de una paywall. Si no tienes tiempo para hacer nada más que trabajar, no hay oportunidades para ser mejor, juntar el capital para acceder a una IA que pueda crear el negocio que te sacaría de pobre

Si no hay una seria política pública que regule y redistribuye la riqueza que las IA van a producir, vamos a estar ante el crecimiento de la desigualdad más grande desde el antiguo régimen. Y la expectativa de mejorar las condiciones de vida va a ser nula...

Imaginemos que todas las personas que hoy hacen trabajos creativos sean reemplazadas, cuanto va a aumentar por ejemplo la oferta de repartidores de comida, lo que va a bajar los precios de las comisiones, aumentará las horas de trabajo y la precariedad laboral

La IA va a enviar a la pobreza a miles de personas, reemplazando sus trabajos, destruyendo el ascensor social, y los puestos de trabajo que no reemplace va a aumentar la competencia y precarización...

1. Project Hail Mary: an awesome Sci-Fi book that explores the first contact with an alien in a completely out of the box manner: the stars are sick of parasites, what is humanity's last hope when everything fails? I won't make any other comment to avoid spoiling anything.

2. A Dance with Dragons: solid book of Fantasy that takes us for a ride adding more and more magic to the saga and doubles down on the issues in the open arcs. JRR Martin won't finish the saga given this book, because of the amount of new stuff happening here.

3. Redemption of Time: it's a love letter to the Remembrance of Earth's Past saga, originally written as a Fanfiction, and gives the saga title a whole new spin. I loved the way Baoshu captures the tone and the science implications in the original saga and added fantastic elements that really shine

4. The restaurant at the end of the universe: the whole saga of Douglas Adams is genius, and pretty funny, I highlighted this one in particular because of the way Adams takes on the absurdity of our society expected behavior

5. Song of Achilles: I was hesitant to read it at first, because what else can be said about Trojan War? But Madeline Miller made an awesome job telling the story as a love struggle from Patroclus perspective.
