Nerd and bibliophile. Here for the art and cat pictures.
3 weeks? Probably because the mail was delayed!

Haha sorry that was meant to be funny but it's probably just the accurate truth.

Thank you for the shout out! I never use FB either but he's been agitating enough people on BlueSky that I hope maybe we can spare some people death threats by getting his posts muted. I truly appreciate your repost.

Ryan Fournier from "Students for Trump" is also inciting doxxing on his Facebook. He's got thousands of people trawling posts and gleefully putting forth dehumanizing language about the targets. Maybe you could advocate for your larger following to report those posts as violations of ToS.

Would you count Felix the Cat as a in this list because he had a popular comic strip run, or is he disqualified since it isn't the origin of the character?

They want attention so bad it's making them look stupid(er).
September 10, 2025 at 11:16 PM
I'll do that right now. Cheers, you faux concerned lying sack of shit!

This concern troll is 1000% a bad faith actor pretending to be reasonable, you are right in telling him to fuck off. Moron doesn't know we can see his comment history, I guess.

Huntington Beach book banners got in trouble for posting signs with "porn" in giant letters right across from schools to advocate their book bans. They are absolutely that stupid.

OC community riled up over 'porn' campaign signs about control of public libraries
Some residents argue the signs, which ask residents to vote "no" on Measures A and B in the upcoming special election, are only encouraging kids to Google the word "porn."

Things like Texas gov try to gerrymander being met by CA and IL threatening the same tactic. And having a high profile Dem who isn't obviously corporation interests first can show the party how to connect with voters w/o billionaire donors.

I don't know about all the answers but the Democratic frontrunner for California governor is Katie Porter and she's got a good track record of making mealymouthed rich consultants admit things.

Wolverine, because despite being a brooding loner at work, I am still somehow on eighteen teams with no given reason.

The person you're replying to does not take concerns seriously and goes mask off pretty quickly when challenged
July 7, 2025 at 1:34 AM
And that had already been explained to you. A picture book meant for young children won't be in a high school library because that's not the intended age group. The books being challenged/banned are for said audience. Like Captain Underpants.
July 6, 2025 at 6:33 PM
No children's libraries have books in Ancient Sumerian either. Doesn't make it banned. Either pick books actually part of the discussion or stop trying a whataboutism.

Didn't answer my question about high schools banning Handmaid's Tale. So I assume you *are* okay with it.

And continuing on this line of questioning is pretty ignorant of you. You got a comment that "Goodnight Moon" isn't in high school libraries. That doesn't mean it's restricted.
