My sketches usually get deleted as I try to keep the amount of layers on my drawing from getting too out of hand, but apparently I saved both of these as separate files for some reason.

Unusually for me, I started drawing these sense cosmic horrors by sketching on paper, so I still have a lot of the work from before I settled on the design.
A pencil drawing. Most of the page is taken up by a humanoid biped with outstretched arms, it has wings from it's waist and a large tail, it's legs end in hands. A smaller sketch below it has a torso that ends in a snake tail, where the torso meets the tail large wings extends, there's an annotation next to the sketch that says "closer to the right body". The third drawing has a centaur bodyplan, ending in a huge snake tail, with wings between the legs. None of the drawings have heads. A pencil drawing. Most of the page is taken up by a headless torso, which connects at the waist to a second, larger torso; the second torso has it's hands planted on the ground; it extends backwards into another set of limbs, also ending in hands. There's a smaller drawing of a centaur body plan that lacks a tail, and a torso with wings sticking out at the waist, the legs are another set of arms, and a snakes tail emerges from behind it. None of the drawings have a head. A pencil drawing of long creature, it's top is a set of shoulders without a head, two arms extend into grasping hands. Downwards, a second set of hands is planted on the ground. The body pulls backwards to a second set of arms also planted on the ground. The body language reads as awkward. The sketch is annotated "?wrong start"

'nother bit of creature design, this one is one of a whole group of cosmic horrors, sort of based on senses. This one was touch.
A four-armed creature with a body that ends in a long snake tail. Where the torso meets the tail, a set of wings with a translucent turquoise membrane are spread out. The creature's head is covered by a metal mask, with turquoise shards of gem above it. The creature is gesturing dramatically with all of it's arms.

A few years back I was running a homebrew horror game for some friends, and designed a whole bunch of monsters for it. This one is the Earworm, and recently I decided I wanted to try and redraw all those creatures, and push the designs and composition a bit further. Right is the new one.
