Remember that marker drawing of the cockroach coat of arms I did earlier this year? It was awful. Anyway I redid it as a collage using junk mail, old craft paper, fabric, and paint. And duct tape for the order name. I'm quite proud of it actually! I'm even gonna tag it #art and #insects

I grew elecampane as an experiment not expecting to get anything because I typically have poor luck with roots but look!! Look!!! I got roots! Not much, but some!

Decoupaging... because underneath all this paper is a painting I TRIED to do but then smeared part of it and then I tried to fix it and made it worse and continued in that cycle before I decided to just cut and glue paper.

Apparently it's #portfolioday. Hello, I work in acrylics and markers, (at an ent like pace, lol). I have a link to a WordPress where I plan on posting completed works. I'm more of a hobbyist but I do love chatting about art and seeing other people's pieces. Happy to make new art friends, always!

Here it is. I made a basic vanilla cake and then a vanilla syrup type of thing with a leftover can of evaporated milk. So it's a tres leches knock off. Uno leches. And it's topped with fruit because I don't feel like whipping heavy cream right now

Ok so next up in my breakfasts around the world is Filipino breakfast. There we're lots of options available that looked really good but I went with what was described as common. This is a fried egg over rice and garlic with tocino.
