The end of summer plunges the mountains into autumn. Each of our senses feels this discreet and delicate plunge. The smell of the earth, which becomes more present with the humidity in the air. The sight of scorched grass. The sound of dry grass underfoot.

Usually we prefer untouched areas, but these are becoming increasingly rare. Roads are to blame, as they bring excessive traffic everywhere. Paradoxically, roads are sometimes beautiful because they magnify the curves of the landscape and invite us to exploration.

I don’t often deviate from 4:5 ratio images. There’s something about that size, especially for horizontal images, that just works for me. However, when I do it’s to capture very simple scenes as squares like these. #LandscapePhotography #Photographer #Nature
