8bitdo ultimate controllers have Hall effect sticks and triggers, so technically no more drift on these

It's kinda on par with the Xbox/Steam Deck sticks in my experience, so pretty tight I would say. But they feel "smoother" to use than XB/Deck imo

Go for it, had an Xbone controller for a decade but I always had weird issues (stick drift, bumpers not working properly). Switched to an 8bitdo controller and never looked back, feels just as premium for a fraction of the price
