Something from Instagram earlier in February— Heavy stuff, this politics. I post a lot on my story over there. I’ve got a lot to say, but no way to say it without the erosion of my sanity and soul [at this point in the lunar cycle], so I’ll let the comic speak for itself here. #politics #art

And that’s the last (or first?) prompts in my Inktober journey! I don’t think they quite make 31, but I’ve enjoyed the challenge of putting them together nonetheless.

For this particular day, I was hanging out with my little cousin (who’s so big now this video makes my heart ache a little bit 🥺), and she wanted to help me with my Inktober prompt.

I created a video for each prompt and started a drawing (ha) for an Inktober piece of the winner’s choosing (She chose Day 3: ‘Bait’ if you were curious!).

I’d share more photos if I had them, but alas, all I have are aging videos from the before-times, so enjoy some moody screenshots.

In 2019 ‘ambitious’ didn’t even cover it. TikTok was still new and fun; it hadn’t yet been ruined by political brainrot or influencers trying to sell you shit.

I didn’t do half bad as one of the cosplay crowd— and my sudden influx of followers had me inspired, so I did a little inktober challenge!

There wasn’t shit-else to do but draw, yet I only completed two that year. (Apparently pumpkin spice lattes are ‘essential’)

I was too ambitious; I wanted to base each prompt on a favorite Halloween movie or special, and do a couple of scene redraws. I didn’t get far, but they were🔥🔥🔥

I usually like to go for a spooky season theme even if it’s not explicitly part of the challenge, but maybe that’s what I get tripped up on? In 2021, I just went with whatever my brain came up with.

The Danny Phantom one is a personal favorite 💚

I only made it through 3 this year.
Last year I got married, and had enough on my plate in September to knock me comatose in October, and in 2022 I guess I just decided not to..?

Anyway, 2021 was the furthest I’ve ever gotten! And evidently, some of my favorite prompts 😄 I had fun with these!
