I was in Hurghada in July, and my vacation turned out to be full of various excursions, so I don't have to remember only the buffet and endless beer😅 And that's a good thing! I am provided with warm memories for half a year or a year.

The IT market in Russia is being rebuilt in a Western way, as it seems to me. I got a little immersed in the topic of hiring problems, selection criteria, and new trends in networking. Right now, it's not enough to just apply for a job to find a new job.

This year is 8 years since I finished my master's degree) Being a student and studying at the university is probably the best time after “childhood”😅 I plan to finish graduate school and defend my PhD to work as a teacher in retirement😁

My love for computers and video games was the determining factor in my journey into the world of IT😅 Back in school, when I was in 9th grade, I decided that I wanted to become a programmer.

I discovered the game Bloodborne (currently available only on PlayStation). I liked the game for its dark and mysterious world, characters, keeping a lot of secrets and of course the plot. I have tried other FromSoftware soulslikes before (Dark Souls 3, Elden Ring) but BB is probably one of the best

By the way, when writing a thesis in a master's program, blogging was even a requirement before the pre-defense. In this way, professors could (if desired) see the progress of the research, emerging problems and their solutions.

Back to the topic of blogging. Probably the teacher was inspired by the movie “The Social Network”, where around the same time students in the USA and the main character of this movie were blogging. As for me, I like the microblogging format like here or X.

At the university where I studied, a software engineering professor used to teach us to blog. It was a personal website on CMS WordPress, where we shared our developments, learning projects, etc. It was hosted on a free (back then) hosting provider.

It's been 5 years since the first certification from Microsoft. The certification itself (MCP programming in C#, and the second MCSA Web application) is no longer there, but warm memories of the fussy preparation for it remain.

I started looking at Golang back in 2018. I've done a few small applications and all that. But lately, something really got me hooked. I liked its simplicity in building Web API microservices.

I watched the movie “Anora” with Yura Borisov. Pretty good movie, pretty good acting, lots of action, but the plot is just “about nothing”, as far as I'm concerned..Again, if you look at it through the prism of Anora - it's a tragedy, if you look at it through the prism of Ivan - just a circus.
