Picking up friends at ONT was fun. We would stand at the gate (outdoors) and watch them roll the stairs to the planes for the passengers to deplane and meander to the gate. Baggage claim was inside and no one gave a rat’s hiney which bag you took from which carousel. Never lost any either.
