Thanks for explaining! I watched this storm from Arlington looking south for an hour. Could not pull myself away. Incredible lightning show & the massive cloud never seemed to move. Radar showed all the action way south. I want so much to understand what I was looking at.

I watched this storm for an hour. The massive cloud produced endless lightning and didn’t seem to move. I finally had to tear myself away to eat. Incredible.
