My two favorite spring flowers are trout lilies and trillium. The trout lillies came out in mid-March and now it's time for the trillium to show off. This was taken this morning in Big Tumbling Creek (maps.app.goo.gl/EoEf2jSp8jXp...)

Justified or not, Lincoln suspended specific Constitutional rights in the middle of a war on our soil and, among whatever other motivations,he sought to free people from slavery.

Very interesting. I asked the new Chinese AI service, DeepSeek, if China is an authoritarian nation. It responded with a long response that cited evidence that, although there are different perspectives, many agreed it was.
But when I tried to scroll to see the whole response, this came up.
