Looking for better leaders of people
I want to question our dualities of right or left, capitalist or socialist. I think we too quickly assume that one train of thought is the answer for every issue. But rather we should be looking at each problem individually and if something doesn't work then we should choose a different solution.

I'm finally reading Abundance and all of these missed opportunities because of short sightedness is frustrating me. In hindsight everything is obvious though so I'm not letting it get to me too badly.

Just finished listening to the new Trump interview and I can't help but think when he's talking about all the bad things that the previous president had done, that he's just talking about himself during his first term.

Just finished reading Animal Farm and I'm seeing a lot of similarities between the actions from the pigs in the book and the current administration.

It's crazy to live in a country that is rifled with corruption. I always thought it was something that only other countries did.

It's absolutely true that we should further invest in initiatives to preserve and protect our planet.

But I'm also under the impression that we should continue to invest in space exploration.

Investing in one doesn't mean not investing in the other.

Currently jealous of countries that have a good relationship with their education system

I think we need to redefine corporations as not people

My goal this year is to read 52 books this year and I'm already behind 🫠. But I finished my 10th book which is way more than I finished last year!

@sanders.senate.gov You've been a wonderful politician and we should've voted you in the first time. But as time continues to go on we need younger candidates to take the reigns. Are there any candidates that you can recommend?

I'm currently reading Civilization & Its Discontents which breaks down culture into civilization (relationships between people) and the ability to protect against nature. What sticks out however is one of the keys to civilization.

Justice.

I consider myself as an environmentalist, but being in those spaces I often hear that we shouldn't be spending time with space exploration.

The idea that the best space ship that we have is the one that we were born on is something I can get behind.

This whole presidency thing isn't working out I think we should move onto the next candidate. Can we hold a snap election or something?

The USA feels like such a pendulum state of a country

I was listening to someone speak on military spending and why it’s so high. It came down to if a manager had used their entire budget then they would be given an increased budget the following year and would be promoted due to managing so much money.

The market reminds me of the market during the last Trump presidency. I'm reminded of the $DOGE rug pull when Elon started accepting it to pay for Tesla's and the $GME squeeze with some of my friends getting stuck holding the bag

I got a kindle last year before traveling abroad and only started really using it recently and for the past few weeks it's quickly replaced doom scrolling on my phone. Admittedly I still use social media but it's way less than it used to be.
