It’s been quite a week and we haven’t got to the standup meeting today, in a quick glance to my calendar my time off is in three months 😵‍💫

I always pictured the robot uprising with killer drones and lasers; Not an AI hallucinating fake facts that get me in hot water with a client.

I don’t know if it’s a bug or a way to force me to upgrade my plan in ChatGPT, every time I open a new chat or make a follow-up question, EVERY single time the model is changed to GPT-4.5; No I don’t want to use that model at this time, JUST don’t change it without my permission

Me: begs for PR review for 3 days
Management: “Why isn’t this merged?”
Me: attaches entire email thread + Slack screenshots
Reviewer: “Can you clarify what this PR is?”
Me: points to PR title, description, comments, and unit tests
Reviewer: “Ah okay, approved.”

I’m not okay 🫠

In my view, hard technical skills outweigh soft skills. Coding, data analysis, and engineering drive progress and build solutions. While soft skills matter, customers don't care how well you communicate that your code is sh*t; they want their software to work.

Thinking in pictures, thinking in patterns, thinking in words—these are quite different experiences. But do thinkers themselves fall into such neat categories?
How Should We Think About Our Different Styles of Thinking?

My GitHub CI pipeline is broken since Thursday, I’ve been deeply into this issue with swc, my team uses MacOS and Windows, it’s a nightmare to work with swc

Why do I get "Error: Cannot find module '@swc/core-linux-x64-gnu'" in Github actions? · swc-project swc · Discussion #4152
I'm using Github actions, with their ubuntu-latest latest image. I'm using @swc/jest and works perfect on my local machine. But when I run Github actions I often get this error: Run ./node_modules/...

The core failure on using any project management methodologies (Waterfall, Scrum, or Kanban) is the completely incompetent people that run these teams; Success comes from the team, leads build successful teams, failure comes from poor leadership.

It's been a a wild month, building a game on Lua, a few products with Go, working on a product with Typescript and my IA SaaS with Python; it takes me a few minutes to get into the right mindset and a few self reminders to avoid mixing ideologies and language specific into different code bases

Game development update: There was no need to rewrite the project, finally got the build for Android working; I’ve been doing daily live streaming of the development and now I'm working on the animations

Game development update:Even though everything flowed smoothly initially, I faced many issues building and deploying the package on my phone. The game works on my computer, but I can't use it on my Android; I can spend another week trying to make it work or rewrite it on Flutter. Stay tuned #GameDev

I’ve had it with mobile games! Ads every five seconds, paywalls everywhere, and they don’t even work without WiFi?! Screw that!

I’m making my own game—no ads, no microtransactions, no internet required! Just pure, distraction-free fun.
