Sadly, the situation in Venezuela is not better, it is substantially worse.
For so many Venezuelans, especially the 8 million who have fled the country since 2014, this is a fraught moment filled with a mix of relief, dread, and expectation.

Impeachment is just a scolding. It has to be followed by a trial and then a vote of at least 60 votes out of 100 senators to actually remove him from office.
