I'm usually pretty good at getting books kids want into the hands of adults. But more and more frequently, these customers just want to buy whatever they feel the kid *should* be reading. And it's making me sad.

Genuinely the same customer who will be complaining in a year or two that her grandkids don't like reading. A shocking number of older customers think like this.
