When the sun sets and the peaks reflect their last light high above my home, I wonder if #Brussels politicians have been able to step over their shadows and get to work. Amazing how distance and the lack of daily confrontation with the failings of the city work wonders on mental health.

Fantastic weather here in the Alps, and it is set to stay all week! Might be the perfect time to try a tandem paragliding flight… and maybe even start taking some lessons. 🪂 hmmm. Maybe first earn some money to pay for all that...🙃

I sure hope so! Als ik in BXL ben gebruik ik vaak de passages onder deze👇bruggen. Op die smalle stripjes speed-peds of opgevoerde steps tegen te komen is not fun. Een goede Noord-Zuid fietsbaan langs het kanaal zou een no-brainer moeten zijn. Begrijp niet hoe zoiets de havenbusiness aantast.

My sweet new colleagues offered me a bike for use while here for the next 6 months. They found the ideal brand for me as half Japanese (even though the Nakamura name was used by a Chinese company for its 'quality sound'. 😏). But I love the bike😍. Next time an Albanian ABT bike - for my other 50%.😂

My sweet new colleagues offered me a bike for use while here for the next 6 months. They found the ideal brand for me as half Japanese (even though the Nakamura name was used by a Chinese company for its 'quality sound'. 😏). But I love the bike😍. Next time an Albanian ABT bike - for my other 50%.😂
As of 1 October I started a new project with a fresh view from my new office. Bluesky will be my umbellical cord to Brussels for a few months. Let's hope there will be a government when I get back in March 2026.
