You put so many words in my mouth to create a strawman argument in that question I’m not even going to answer it. lol
I constantly self-evaluate my beliefs and behaviors to make sure I am staying the person I want to be. It’s not complicated. You’re acting like personal inventorying is a new idea.

I don’t understand choosing to be an asshole. Wielding power sounds super fun - I’d be totally into that - but to be so powerful and *hated* for it sounds awful. To me, using my billions to make myself some beloved messiah figure is ideal. Solve world hunger? Done! Cure diseases? Yes! Money for all!

But many ideologies and lifestyle choices completely color the content of your character, or at least heavily influence it. For there to be such a wide gap between the person you meet and the person they truly are is a horrifying realization.

What? The “most popular information” (your words) and “this author is popular” are not synonymous. You’re using them interchangeably like you’re making some kind of point. 😂 I didn’t know this author’s books off the top of my head, so I Googled him, and learned his books titles. Don’t be obtuse.

I’m also fat! Getting in and out of your car is going to be killer on your joints. Stretch breaks while you wait for orders! I’m telling you, stretching is amazing. I only started doing it in September and my daily pain is way way down.

@stephenking.bsky.social is certainly one of America’s greatest writers in history, but I wouldn’t describe any of his books as being “the Great American Novel”. I don’t think he’d want that title for his stories. “On Writing” is the greatest book about being a creator, though, which is tremendous.

I’m a total hedonist couch potato by nature but I also move a lot and deliberately. Not exercise, but just maintaining these parts. Stretch every morning when you wake up! Work on your muscles and they’ll support your joints better. I’m almost 40 and certainly have some aches, but won’t accept them!
