It has descended into comments about the "woke/jew agenda" and how CBC once called even PM Harper a nazi (they didn't).

The responses to this in the local Facebook group are so (sadly) predictable:
I know him, he's really a nice guy.
But, I love his gym.
He can do what he wants in his free time.

My post wasn't about hope (keep it!), and I too am in an NDP riding but that doesn't change the fact that even the NDP has shifted towards liberalism and away from socialism.
And it doesn't change that Canada as a whole has attempted to emulate the US over Europe, which was my point.

Even if we were to pretend that these Premiers weren't voted in by the people, Canada has long been interested in (and voted for) a more Conservative shift rather than a more socialist shift.... (among other more American shifts)
