this is the editor i use,..

juila itself is a coding base for iterative functions,.. if you like abstract math it is deep, but what i use is an editor written in java (another coding language) which just uses the various fractal formulas to create a given image form,..from there i can manipulate the various data,

'canvas' is a old world cloth(usually sails) but in the art world it is the surface that art is applied to,.. a juila is a formula used in recursive iterations, any code language that can render to a screen/canvas can be utilized to project math based images, the kaleidoscope is real world tool.
