Big fan of vtubers and space
One of my friends always says my tiny girl Chomusuke looks like Toothless.
I think a lot of it is the big green eyes

I'd honestly forgotten what the original looks like

I'm so used to the edit...

"Disassembling and reassembling it" is the hardware equivalent of "turning it off and on again"
I've fixed so many problems this way

And like anything creative, or any skill really, you just need to jump in, start doing it, and have fun!

At first, you'll suck, but if you keep doing it, you'll build up your skills and get good.
If you quit while you suck, you'll suck forever 🤷‍♂️

>have comment idea
>someone already said it
>like their comment
>maybe reply to said comment with an additional thought I had which they didn't
>don't fill up the comments and don't make anyone feel murdery

The Vive Pro 2 is a bit more "love it or hate it" as opposed to Index "everyone likes it".

Being business oriented, the Vive Pros are generally better built. Pro 2 has slightly better res than Index HMD.

They're pricier new, but there are a LOT of well priced used units from the VR arcade crash.

I made the same upgrade recently.

I thought about an Index, but they're super hard to get in Aus and not really wireless compatible. I'm used to running Vive Wireless and can't go back to cables.

The clarity upgrade is phenomenal!

Blue Sky has a much more chill vibe.

Weirdly, I even find myself scrolling slower than on twitter

Trump is in charge of the US like Musk is in charge of Tesla and SpaceX; he really doesn't do much, but occasionally suggests dumb ideas and expects everyone to try and do them; he takes credit for any successes, but any failures aren't his fault because he had nothing to do with them

Boy do I have the video for you.

I don't know if proper etiquette would be to tag Technology Connections or not...

Social media feeds are gardens.
You need to cultivate the things you want to see, and weed out the things you don't want around

In the spirit of the "my heart goes out to you" salute, they'll make an upgraded Model S refresh... Even 'S'ier than the original...

The Model SS
March 13, 2025 at 1:19 PM
They were planned be released in that order (S 3 X Y) but delays to the model 3 meant the model X was released before the 3, so the release order ended up being SX3Y which is a lot less SEXY

Using a 555 timer to intermittently pulse the output is clever.

In the past I've used a resistor dummy load (150-200R) with the actual load to keep the battery awake. It's not a lot of extra draw, but it can make a difference to battery life in some applications.

And you'd need 50 years' worth of coal and 50 years' diesel to mine and deliver it.

Coal is good for base load power when hydro or nuclear aren't options. Even ignoring the cost of pollution, coal costs money. Wind and sun are free.

A wind turnine only takes about 2 months to 2 years to offset its embodied energy.

After that it's pure profit. >90% of its life is spent producing power for zero material cost

It's insane and amazing that a guy who played piano with his cock and balls live and on television is one of the few true /leaders/ the world has

It was the same with preppers.

They claim they can handle months or years in their bunkers with their MREs, but couldn't even handle a few weeks of COVID lockdown before freaking out and threatening people with guns

Mashed Potatoes.

Fits quite well, honestly. Little squishy white ball
