it tossed you one hell of a bone so congrats! if I can give any advice it's to use distilled water and descale regularly because scale buildup is the espresso machine killer but you probably already know that (I was not great about that with my last machine and it messed up the boiler)

I think in some utopian parallel universe perhaps I could be unreservedly enthusiastic about this stuff. Instead this feels more like scraping the silver lining off the surface of the torment nexus so IDK what to say. It's uh, cool I guess?

On the other hand, I can see how these tools are both useful for experienced developers who don't have the time or energy to devote to tedious programming tasks, as well as folks who are just starting out and need a hand with syntax, example code, and finding elegant solutions to unfamiliar problems

I don't really know how to talk about this stuff, because on one hand I think that condensing down decades of human effort into a very fancy autocomplete engine so that the tech industry can more efficiently squander resources while people starve and the environment goes to shit is reprehensible.

Additionally, I suspect what will happen and is probably already happening, is that they will allow devs to work at a noticeably faster pace in many but not all scenarios, increasing the overall expectations placed on individuals and teams of developers.
