My favorite #mtg #edh #commander mechanics are anything that involve 2^N. As an example, we were running through the math today for Stormsplitter + Reverberate + Seething Song + any card that says "storm" like Spreading Insurrection and you already have 2^7 (128 otters) plus additional mana!

Gross #edh #commander #mtg combo of the other night from my mono-white Giada deck - I ended up winning at -12 health and my partner was quite upset with me

This concept is very inspired by how crappy True Strike is in 5e EXCEPT when you're the DM and you use it for thematic flair when the heroes encounter the evil mastermind

I really want to make an #mtg deck with Gandalf as the commander, include every suspend/impending card, and then roleplay as a megalomaniac supervillian who's monologuing too much

My favorite Magic the Gathering card combo (from a thematic standpoint) right now probably is Hop To It + Requiem Angel - if the bunnies die they become spirits 🥺😭
