When did you start writing? As soon as I could hold a pen and tell stories. I taught myself to type when I was 7. I wrote my first "novel" at 12. And have been writing various things ever since. I self-pubbed my debut novel in 2012 at the age of 37.

So today is Halloween, and my old cell phone, which I use for music only, has been turning on and turning off randomly since about 3:30a.m. Um...should I call an exorcist?

I LOVE scary things, love horror, love anything that gives me chills or freaks me out. Horror movies, psychological thrillers...I also love writing that kind of stuff as well. It's one of my favorite genres. I'm always trying to scare myself. ;)

I used to write at night after dinner, but now that I'm on the #nightshift, I usually write sometime between midnight and 6am, usually closer to 6am and the end of my work day. Not a fan of this method but right now it's the only time I can do it.

Tower Reversed is still in the draft stage, and I am still trying to figure out the middle and the end. Since I don't outline, it's more of a noodling/brainstorming/what if? kinda thing. It's a short story - I think. ;)

Today is #TakeYourCatToWorkDay. Before my sweet kitty Hailey passed, she was my faithful companion and helper every day. I work from home, and she loved sitting with me, which earned her the nickname, "Helper Kitty." I miss her so much!
