If I recall, there was discussion of that sort in the early days of this country. I also recall similar arguments cropping up in our history and being used for voter suppression. The burden of a free society is that morons and idiots have rights too.

If i remember my history, the 16th President taught himself to read in a dirt floor shack while while working his father's farm. The Whitehouse only got a working indoor toilet less than 10 years before Lincoln took office. Want correct? Try wainscoting.
