I don't think that's true. His position is the result of a long series of choices that, were I in his exact position, I truly don't believe I would ever have made.

Right? It would be nice to get to use the internet like a normal person, but instead, there's absolutely no space online where I can avoid encountering wild amounts of hate directed toward people like myself. There's already less and less reprieve from that shit offline.
