“Ivory Much Love You”
This year was my husband’s and my 14th wedding anniversary. We usually try to give each other something following the traditional anniversary gift and this year was Ivory. So I painted him a card and my daughter came up with the awesome punny title

I really liked painting the little snail and I thought he deserved a bigger painting so I sketched him out on a 5x7 paper but immediately decided that wouldn’t allow for a big enough sky. So I also sketched him onto a 7x10 paper. But since I had the 5x7 already sketched, I decided to paint both

Earlier this year I finished the story of the squirrel always chasing the nut and let her catch her prize. I painted the first part last year when I had the idea that it would be fun to have a squirrel that brings the night with her tail as she endlessly chases the sun

I had some time while I waited for washes to dry on other paintings so I used it to finish a couple of backgrounds that I painted ages ago and just had laying around. It is always a nice feeling when I’m able to finish something like that.

This is the first time I have painted an Undyingtales animal without a pumpkin. I sketched out this Himalayan Brown Bear back in October but got busy with costumes and didn’t have a chance to finish it. But I did make one of the rocks some what pumpkin like …
