On the bright side, the motor I did pull apart and service is working just fine now. The MR-1 plays tapes, though the cam motor sticks now and it ate a tape.
It was a chrome tape too T.T

Also this mechanism like, I have to take off so many parts to get at the one I need to service.
I also ended up with one extra clip and bolt left over, so I gotta take the whole damn thing apart again to put them back on.
