My mom kept the placenta from my either my brother or sisters birth in our freezer for years. She wanted to plant it under a tree but knew we’d move soon enough. It fell out of the freezer constantly for like 8 years & idk if it ever ended up under a tree

My MIL gave me a frozen chicken that my husband was able to date between 7-12 yrs old bc it came from a food delivery service. He thought it was closer to 12 bc they rarely bought meat in the last few years of the service. We also had to sneak in and throw away salad dressings that expired in 1993
