Regardless of any other Supreme Court cases they want to challenge (ie Obergefell or Griswold) this move will really be the action that removes ALL guardrails and then we are truly f#*ked.

Which will create a direct challenge to that most landmark of landmark cases (Marbury v Madison) that has been truly the core of our democratic system for most of our history.

So by JD Vance publicly stating that judges do not have the power to dictate to the president what they can and cannot do, he is setting up the inevitable situation where the Supreme Court will strike down something Trump wants and he will just ignore said ruling

For those who slept thru this section in their history class, Marbury v Madison was the case that established the judicial review system that enables courts to strike down laws that are unconstitutional and the other branches must follow those rulings

I haven’t been able to confirm or find reports, but supposedly, Belanger has been released from prison and given the unfortunate rise of young men shouting “your body, my choice” without any hesitation, it’s vital to familiarize yourself with these groups, especially if you live in a red state
