In 10 years we’ll be like, "At least Lauren Boebert isn't one of the crazy ones," when a few moderate Dems vote to confirm her to be Secretary of Revenge and she's put in charge of the department responsible for hunting down and imprisoning people their political enemies.

Also, the decision isn’t final. Eventually these guys will lose or go to jail - maybe both - and someone can right this wrong. It’s nasty and arrogant but also just dumb. The MAGA hat trick.

So when people are like, “oh you cut people out of your life if they have different views?” No. I cut people out of my life who lack basic human decency or who don’t make their vote contingent on whether or not the people they vote for have it.

It’s mean and cruel, which is the point. I’m not saying I haven’t had moments when I’ve been mean or unkind - we all have - but the difference is I regret them. They revel in them and their followers cheer on the cruelty. It’s really the fundamental dividing line in our country right now now.

He has definitely cognitively declined compared to his first term. Not that he wasn’t capable of word salad then, but it is ALL he is capable of now.

People who say, “You have to understand what he meant to our generation…” Nope, sorry, I was there. He was no more foundational to our generation than any random piece of crap we bought at Spencer Gifts. He was a novelty item. Maybe he meant something to YOU, dude, but don’t drag us down with you

It absolutely does. I was sitting with my parents, sister and her husband when the news broke and to say it sent a chill through the room would be an understatement.
